About Wiltshire Dyslexia Association

The Wiltshire Dyslexia Association is a small, registered charity, which was founded in 1984.

About Us

The WDA is run by volunteers who provide support for anyone requiring information about dyslexia.  We aim to improve understanding and provision for people with dyslexia throughout Wiltshire and beyond, campaigning for a dyslexia-friendly society.

We provide regular free newsletters to keep everyone informed about local and national dyslexia news, research updates, details about upcoming events and webinars including free training opportunities, information about resources, links to other SEND newsletters, articles and blogs, and stories about dyslexics in the news.

We meet with the Wiltshire Specialist SEN Service (SSENS) and Wiltshire Parent Carer Council to keep up to date with what is on offer to schools and families.

We are part of a nationwide Dyslexia Network hosted by the British Dyslexia Association – the national dyslexia charity.
